Hi! I’m Kathleen Millsap, a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Collaborative Special Education. I spent six years teaching in the Auburn and Birmingham school systems before transitioning to my current role at Unless U, a nonprofit that provides continuing education for adults with disabilities (a cause I’m deeply passionate about—please check them out!).

For over a decade, I’ve been committed to serving the special needs community. Alongside that passion, I’ve developed a strong interest in exercise and wellness. I’ve maintained a consistent fitness routine, trained at various gyms, and dedicated myself to learning proper form and the benefits of movement. To combine these passions, I earned my Adaptive Fitness Certification through Strong Education, equipping me to integrate personal training into the lives of individuals with disabilities and special needs.

Through Hearts That Move, I’m committed to bridging the gap in opportunities for teens and adults with special needs. My mission is to help you or your loved one build lasting strength, confidence, and the support needed to reach their fullest potential.
